Victoria Tyson LLB (Hons) LLM
After successfully completing her Law Degree from London Metropolitan University Vicky went on to gain her Masters Degree (LLM with Hons) at the Inns of Court School of Law in London and remained there to complete her Bar Vocational Course.
She was called to the Bar as a member of Lincoln’s Inn in 2006. Vicky then decided to cross-qualify as a Solicitor and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in October 2011. With her background in advocacy Vicky has practised in various areas of law, including general criminal and civil litigation.
Vicky found her passion for residential conveyancing whilst working at a niche private client law firm in Wimbledon where she specialised in high value freehold and leasehold transactions. She remains committed to residential conveyancing practice and has specialised in this area ever since.
She was born and brought up in Cumbria and moved back to her roots in 2013 when she took up a position with Poole Townsend in Ulverston.
Vicky joined Baines Bagguley Penhale in December 2018 and is delighted to be joining a progressive and thriving Property Department. She will be based in our Lancaster office and is looking to develop a wide ranging practice dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing including freehold and leasehold, new build/plot transactions, transfers of part, in registered and unregistered titles. She also has considerable experience handling properties with defective titles and boundary issues.
Vicky is kept busy at home with her young family and at weekends they like nothing more than to get out on to the Lakeland fells.
